Congressman John Katko was the guest speaker at the breakfast meeting of the Manlius Republican Committee's Liberty Club on Monday, just hours before returning to Washington to begin deliberations on the GOP's tax reform proposal.
The Congressman enlightened Liberty Club members about the process involved in passing this important legislation and the many benefits expected for our economy with its passage.
As always, Congressman Katko stressed his efforts to always vote based on what is best for the taxpayers in his district.
Katko was the fourth of four speakers to the Liberty Club this year, following Onondaga County Republican Chairman Tom Dadey in March, State Senate Deputy Majority Leader John DeFrancisco in May, and a panel discussion with Town Supervisor Ed Theobald, Village of Minoa Mayor Bill Brazill, Fayetteville Mayor Mark Olson and Village of Manlius Mayor Paul Whorrall in September.
Liberty Club memberships for 2018 are now available and can be obtained by contacting Liberty Club Chairman Rich Rossetti at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Liberty Club is a fundraising arm of the Town of Manlius Republican Committee. All proceeds from the Liberty Club go to benefit the Republican Committee and our candidates for office.
